D’Arcy Short joins Hampshire for 2021 Vitality Blast
Short is an aggressive opening batsman. He wasn’t that much impressive in International Cricket for Australia in T20Is, but still in Plans of Australian cricket for limited overs format.
With an experience of 100 T20 Games, Short is almost a perfect fit in any league team. He has also scored 2 centuries in this format along-with 26 half centuries at strike rate of 133 runs per 100 balls and also taken 48 T20 wickets with his chinaman bowling which is an additional advantage.
D’Arcy Short joins Hampshire Hawks for Vitality Blast 2021. He represented Durham in Vitality Blast and is a regular feature in franchise T20 leagues worldwide.
Leicestershire sign Josh Inglis for 2021 T20 Blast
Leicestershire add Josh Inglis to T20 Blast squad. Wicket keeper batsman Josh Inglis will be seen playing in the Vitality Blast for the first time this year and this will be his first stint with any T20 franchise league other than Big Bash..
Inglis has featured in 41 T20 games and has scored over 900 runs. With a stellar strike rate of 144 and an average of 29, Inglis is indeed a very powerful hitter of the cricket ball and on his day he can win matches for his side.
26 year old Josh Inglis was one of the top batters in last edition of Big Bash League scored 413 runs at a strike rate of 140 to secure 9th spot in in BBL batting charts, which is almost half of his career T20 runs.
Surrey Recruit Sean Abbott for T20 Blast 2021
Surrey signs Australian all rounder Sean Abbott Vitality Blast 2021. Talented all rounder who rose to fame when one of his bouncer resulted in death of Phill Hughes. With an experience of 94 T20 games for BBL and IPL.
115 wickets with his right arm swing bowling and bit of support with his batting lower down the order made him a suitable fit for T20 franchise teams.
Mitchell Marsh signs for Middlesex for 2021 blast campaign
English county Middlesex have signed Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh for their Vitality Blast 2021 campaign. Mitchell Marsh cut short his IPL 2021 stint due to personal reasons and heads back to Australia.
Junior Marsh scored 315 runs with an average of 39 and a strike rate of 147. His recent form coupled with his vast experience in the T20 format for various global T20 leagues will help the Middlesex.
Mitchell Marsh has an injury prone career and didn’t last long in many leagues which hampered his bowling which is as good as a genuine fast bowler.
Daniel Christians Return as Nottinghamshire Captain in Blast 2021
Daniel Christian will be representing Nottinghamshire in Vitality Blast 2021 to defend its title. 272 Runs at a whopping strike rate of 182 in BBL 2020/21 proves how phenomenal Daniel Christian has been lately with the bat and his 15 wickets proving him a genuine all rounder in T20 cricket leagues.
37 years old Christian is a global commodity when it comes to franchise T20 leagues. Amongst all the Aussies in action in Vitality Blast 2021, Christian is the most experienced in the shortest format of the game with experience of 350 T20 matches under his belt.
Worcestershire sign Ben Dwarshuis for T20 Blast 2021
Worcestershire Rapids signs 26 year old left arm pacer Ben Dwarshuis for T20 Blast 2021 campaign. Ben caught everyone’s attention when he finished BBL 2020/21 as the second highest wicket taker. He took 24 wickets at an impressive average of just 16.
Conditions in England do support the pacers and keeping the recent form of Dwarshuis in mind, he is a very good addition to Worcestershire. He has featured in 69 T20 games so far and picked up 85 wickets. Dwarshuis averages 17 with the bat so that he can also offer some batting depth to Worcestershire in their lineup.
He also had a stint with Kings XI Punjab in 2018 as an overseas player.
