Wayne Parnell joins Northamptonshire for Vitality Blast 2021 season

Wayne Parnell joins Northamptonshire for all formats as overseas player after his Kolpak deal ended. Parnell’s last T20 appearance was in the Playoff of PSL 2020 when he represented Karachi Kings. He is considered as a seasoned campaigner but KOLPAK has hurt his international credntials.

Parnell brings in the experience of 207 T20 Matches in Northamptonshire’s side. Apart from 209 wickets to his name, Parnell also has 4 half centuries in T20 cricket and that too at a strike rate of 123 which is an added advantage.

Sussex re-sign David Wiese for 2021 Vitality Blast 

David Wiese is one of the hottest T20 Stars from South Africa currently. David Wiese to stay at Sussex for this year’s Vitality Blast. Wiese’s incredible finishing skills have made him a big player for T20 Leagues.

With over 2000 runs and 183 wickets in his T20 Career, Wiese is an all-rounder that every team wants. His last T20 Appearance was against Karachi Kings in the PSL where Wiese’s unbeaten 31* run innings allowed Lahore Qalandars to win the game. Wiese is more than a handy bowler and a great striker of the ball with the bat and that is the reason why Sussex have retained him.
