Rishabh Pant Completes 4000 International Runs

At the mere age of 25, an Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant completes 4000 international runs today after playing his turn against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chaudary stadium in Chattogram during the first Test match between India and Bangladesh on Wednesday,14th December 2022.

Pant came right after three crucial wickets of India including a player like Virat Kohli and grounded himself in front of Bangladesh’s left-arm spinner, Taijul Islam.

The left-hander batsman now has a total of 4021 runs in his bag while serving the Indian team for almost 5 years and scored overall 6 hundred and one-half centuries from 2017 to 2022. Moreover, five of these centuries were fetched during Tests and one through ODI cricket.

Even after facing a lot of public criticism over his poor performance in Asia cup, T20WC, and series against New Zealand, Delhi Capitals captain in IPL not only completes 4000 runs in international cricket but also became the fastest batsman to score 50 sixes in Indian Test history in the same innings against Bangladesh.

On contrary, Indian wk-batter MS Dhoni is still at the top of the scoreboard whose career is enriched with 17266 total international runs in all formats. He has played 526 innings with an average of 44.96 and pocketed the 224 high score mark with an astonishing 16 hundred and 108 fifty centuries.
