Australian Players in PSL are usually seen in a lesser number as compared to other Top T20 tournaments or other foreign players in Pakistan Super League. There are 3 Australian crickets in PSL representing as many sides.
The reason behind fewer Australia Cricketers in PSL is the schedule of PSL as it is held in a window when the Aussies are either busy with national duty or their domestic cricket season is taking place simultaneously.
List of Australian Players in PSL 2022

Australian Cricketers in PSL 7
Australian Cricketers in Peshawar Zalmi
Ben Cutting from Australia will play for Peshawar Zalmi this year. Last year, Cutting was part of Quetta Gladiators. The Australian all-rounder was picked by Zalmi in the supplementary category of the draft. Ben Cutting is currently playing BBL where he has been economical with the ball but hasn’t done anything special with the bat.
In PSL 2021 Cutting had a disastrous time as he averaged just 9 with the bat while he picked just 1 wicket with the ball averaging 74 and his economy rate was more than 12.
Australia Players in Quetta Gladiators
Another Australian player in PSL is All-Rounder James Faulkner and he will be playing PSL 2022 for Quetta Gladiators. Faulkner played for Lahore Qalandars in the UAE-Leg of PSL. He picked 13 wickets in just 6 matches that he played for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2021. Despite missing the first leg of the event, Faulkner ended as the 4th highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
Recently, Faulkner picked up 11 wickets in Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021. He was averaging just 16 with the ball. Going by his record in PSL and his recent form, Faulkner is an extremely good picked by QG management and his hard-hitting batting capability is an additional benefit.
Australian Players in Multan Sultans
The Singapore-Australian Cricketer, Tim David will be a part of Multan Sultans in PSL 2022. David was picked through wild-card in the Platinum Category of the draft. Tim David played for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2021. David scored 180 runs in just 6 games for Lahore last year. He was their 3rd highest run-getter in the event having an average of 45 and an explosive strike rate of 166.66.
Tim David has failed to fire yet in the ongoing BBL 2021-22, but he does possess the firepower that a middle-order batsman needs to have. David is also considered an extremely good pick by Multan Sultans as Multan seems to have solved the middle-order batting issue that they had last year in PSL.
