Pakistan wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan appointed as Captain of Multan Sultan for Pakistan Super League 6 edition. Mohammad Rizwan has been in great form with the bat recently and has been named Test & T20I player of the series in the recently concluded series against South Africa.

Interesting to note that Mohammad Rizwan has been released by Karachi Kings in PSL draft held in January and grasped by Multan Sultan.

Since then Rizwan career has achieved new heights as he has been named Pakistan captain in New Zealand when regular captain Babar Azam injured his thumb and have to sit out of playing 11.
Mohammad Rizwan has replaced Champions Trophy 2017 winning captain Sarfaraz Ahmed in Pakistan national team and since than cemented his spot in the team with his both behind the wicket with the gloves and infront of the stumps with the bat.
Rizwan becomes 2nd Pakistani batsman to have scored centuries in all format when he scored match winning 100 against South Africa in 1st T20I.
