Multan Sultans Appoint Ajmal Shahzad as their Bowling Coach
The Runners-Up of PSL 2022 and the former champions in 2021, Multan Sultans have named former English Pacer Ajmal Shahzad as their new bowling coach for the 8th edition of Pakistan Super League. Previously, Ottis Gibson had that role.
In the year 2021, Ajmal Shahzad worked with Multan Sultans as a coaching assistant. This means that he was a part of the coaching staff of Sultans that ended up winning the Pakistan Super League.
Ajmal Shahzad was also the fast bowling coach of Trent Rockets too, winners of the Hundred in 2022. He played 15 international matches for England Team and took 24 wickets in his short career.
He has a vast First Class and List A experience under his belt. He took 249 wickets in First Class Cricket and 120 wickets in List A Cricket. He has also taken 48 wickets in his T20 Career.
