Wahab Riaz
Former captain of Peshawar Zalmi, Wahab Riaz is the all-time highest wicket taker in Pakistan Super League’s history. Wahab is one of those rare players who has played for only one PSL franchise. In his illustrious 87 match career for Peshawar, Wahab has taken 113 wickets at an average of 22.7 and an economy rate of 7.79.
Despite having so many wickets to his name, the speedster has never taken a fifer in his PSL career. Wahab is the only bowler to take more than 100 wickets in PSL till date.
Hasan Ali
Hasan was Wahab’s teammate for a very long period of time before eventually going to Islamabad United. Representing Zalmi and United, Hasan Ali has 81 wickets to his name in his PSL career and is the 2nd highest wicket taker in PSL. He averages 23 with the ball and has an economy rate of 7.83 in PSL. Similar to Wahab, Hasan also has never taken a five wicket haul in his PSL career.
Shaheen Shah Afridi
The winning captain of PSL 7, Shaheen Shah Afridi is on the third spot in list of most wickets in PSL. In 50 games, Shaheen has taken 70 wickets for the Qalandars with his left arm pace. He averages 20.77 with the ball and has an economy rate of 7.6. Shaheen also has a five wicket haul to his name in Pakistan Super League.
Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan is the highest wicket taking spinner of PSL history. He is overall the 4th hiighest wicket taker of PSL. The captain of Islamabad United has taken 65 wickets in 61 PSL matches. He averages 24 with the ball at an economy rate of 7.26. Shadab Khan has one five-wicket haul to his name in his PSL career.
Faheem Ashraf
Shadab’s teammate, Faheem Ashraf stands 5th in the list of all-time highest wicket takers of PSL. Faheem Ashraf also holds the record for the 2nd best bowling figures in PSL history (6/19). He is one of the only three bowlers to take a 6-wicket haul in PSL. Overall he has 64 wickets in 49 PSL games at an average of 20 and an economy rate of 7.9.
Mohammad Nawaz
With 61 wickets in his PSL career, Mohammad Nawaz is the highest left-arm wicket taking spinner. Nawaz averages 25 at an economy rate of 7.26 in his PSL career. He is the 6th highest wicket taker of Pakistan Super League. He has never recorded a fifer in his PSL career.
