After all if and but’s finally New Zealand will be facing an unlikely team in 1st semi final of ICC World T20 2022 in form of Pakistan. This will be New Zealand 4th time to make it to semi final of the global T20 event.

Induction of explosive batter Mohammad Haris in middle order has provided a new dimension to Pakistan batting. New Zealand is one of the settled side and will maintain same combination which they are using throughout. Allen providing the explosive start at the top with Conway has the role carry the innings together. Kane Williamson face criticism for hos slow batting but in last match he played the role of aggressor. Glen Phillips have been explosive in the lower middle order.
Just like Pakistan New Zealand fast bowling trio is their main strength. Boult, Southee and Fergusan are three different types of bowlers who are playing their part exceedingly well. Ish Sodhi and Santner can be helpful in conditions in Sydney which suits the spinners historically.
