England is the founder of cricket and they always tweaked with the formats of the game to increase the interest level. First they came up with T20 cricket which is now the new norm now they have introduced The 100 cricket. The Hundred Schedule 2023 is already adjusted in long English cricket season.

The Hundred Cricket Schedule 2023

The Hundred Cricket Fixtures will commence from 1st August 2023 fun filled exciting 100 ball cricket fixtures will continue till 27th August, 2023 completing 34 matches within a month.

The Hundred Cricket Teams

Teams in The Hundred 2023 is based on the cities instead of the traditional English cricket teams in First Class games, PRO 40 & Vitality Blast T20 in which teams are based on the counties.

The Hundred League Format

Tournament will be played on round robin league where each team will not only play 07 matches against the other 07 teams but also an additional match against one of the sides on home and away basis.

After the competition of round robin league top at the points table will qualify for the final of the hundred men scheduled final on 27th August, 2023. Whereas 2nd and 3rd ranked team will play each other in eliminator for a spot in the 100 cricket final in 2023 edition.    

The 100 Cricket Rules

Format of Hundred cricket is just like any other T20 game with few amendments in laws which are just mentioned below and that has to be followed The Hundred Cricket Fixtures.

  • Each side will be able to bat for a maximum of 100 balls.
  • Bowling ends will change after every 10 balls.
  • Bowlers will be allowed to bowl consecutive five or 10 balls.
  • No bowler will be allowed to bowl more than 20 balls in an innings.
  • Strategic timeouts of up to 2.5 minutes during which coach is also allowed to enter the field
  • Powerplay will be 25 balls long for each team.
  • 25 balls field restriction during power play with only two fielders allowed outside the 30-yard circle
