For Sri Lanka, their entire batting unit will be watched by the fans. After an embarrassing performance against India, it is time to do better. Sri Lanka need to forget that game and move on. Kusal Mendis, Asalanka, and Sadeera Samarawickrama are in good rhythm. They need to continue their good run and pay back the fans with a good batting performance.
With the ball, there is only one star in the Lankan bowling unit. Dilshan Madushanka picked a fifer against India too although he was a bit expensive but still, he is still an emerging talent and has done extremely well to pick 18 wickets in 7 games of the mega event.
For Bangladesh, Mahmudullah Riyad remains key. He is the best performing Bangladeshi batter this event and in the previous game, we did see him getting a promotion to bat up the order. Shakib-al-Hasan also showed glimpses of form with the bat against Pakistan, he needs to continue the same.
With the ball, Mehidy Hasan Miraz has been good and he is the only bowler who is seen to be trying hard for wickets. Sri Lanka should be watchful against Miraz.
