If being the most successful team of the World Cup wasn’t enough, Australia also holds the record for the highest team total in World Cup history. They smashed 417 runs against Afghanistan in the group match of the 2015 World Cup at Perth. Australia won this game by a humongous margin of 275 runs.

India 413/5 in World Cup 2007

The associate cricketing nation of Bermuda was at the receiving end of the 2nd highest team total in World Cup history. Virender Sehwag top-scored for India with 114. India won this game at Port of Spain by 257 runs.

South Africa 411/4 in World Cup 2015

South Africa smashed 411/4 against Ireland at Canberra in the 2015 World Cup. Hashim Amla top-scored for the Proteas with 159. South Africa won that game by 201 runs margin.
