Tri Series in New Zealand just before the start of ICC World T20 is all set to end with Pakistan and New Zealand will take on each other in the final of the series. Both Pakistan and New Zealand have 6 points each but New Zealand is top of the pool with better net run rate. Third team Bangladesh lost all their matches which is an alarming situation for them just before WT20.
Match Preview
During the league matches both sides win 1 match against each other but New Zealand looked much settled unit as they gain the momentum later on. Devon Conway is topping the batting charts with 219 runs in 4 games but the real impetus has been provided by Glen Phillips and Finn Allen who both striking the ball at 202 and 141 runs per 100 balls.
Pakistan Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan are the 2nd and 3rd most run getter in the series but managed strike rate of 125 and 123 respectively. Pakistan real problems starts when their openers got out as middle order not able to deliver as yet and only Shadab and Nawaz able to score runs when promoted up the order.
It’s a final chance for both teams before WT20 to finalize their combination against any international side.
