Mitchell Marsh pulls out of IPL 2021

Australian all rounder Mitchell Marsh who was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL 2021 edition has decided to opt out of Indian Premier League 2021 edition.

Mitchell Marsh who career has been marked with injuries and he skip more matches at international level than he played has informed both Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) and management of Sunrisers Hyderabad about his decision.

Reason for Marsh decision is bio secure bubble as he is not willing to spend long times in bio secure bubble. Marsh has only managed to play 21 IPL games in his 10 year cricket career so far and missed majority of the 2020 IPL addition due to ankle injury which he received while playing for SRH.

Mitch Marsh previously represented Deccan Chargers and Pune Warriors in Indian Premier League before being bought  by SRH for INR 2 crore in IPL 2020 edition.

Marsh is second Australian in IPL after Josh Philippe who opted out of IPL after being picked up by franchise.
