Brisbane Heat resigns Mujeeb ur Rehman
At just 19 years of age Mujeeb Ur Rahman already played 124 T20 matches for more than half dozen sides in various T20 leagues around the globe and is currently ranked as #2 in ICC T20 bowling rankings.
This will be Mujeeb’s 3rd stint at BBL. Mujeeb has previously taken 15 BBL wickets in 18 games over the two seasons. Right arm off break bowler is one of the go to guys in cricket now a days and picked on priority in many T20 leagues.
Zahir Khan joins Melbourne Stars in BBL 10
21 years old Zahir Khan is one of the rare breads in cricket with his ability to bowl left arm wrist spin has been picked up by Melbourne Stars to play for them in BBL 2020.
Zahir has played just 2 test and an ODI for Afghanistan but has been part of best T20 franchise leagues like IPL, PSL, CPL and other where he has played 55 T20 matches and picked up 67 wickets with an average an economy rates of 20 & 7 respectively.
Mohmmad Nabi to play for Melbourne Renegades Big Bash League 2020-21
World number #1 T20 all rounder in International Cricket Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi has been resigned by Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League 2020.
Nabi has been a regular member of Renegades squad over the past three seasons and had represented them in 27 matches in which he has scored 476 runs at an strike rate of more than 130 runs per 100 balls and also taken 21 T20 wickets for them.
35 year old Nabi is one of the leading all rounders in the world with his off spin bowling with which he taken 267 T20 wickets in 271 matches and his handy lower order batting also adds value to his team.
He has been part of many top franchise T20 leagues and his list of teams is also a lengthy one.
15 year old Noor Ahmad will represent Melbourne Renegades in BBL 10
Another left arm leg spin bowler from Afghanistan Noor Ahmed will play in BBL 10 season, Noor Ahmed who has represented Afghanistan in Under 19 cricket world cup and is easily the youngest player to play in Big Bash League if he will et a chance to play.
Noor Hamed has been picked as replacement for Imran Tahir who will not be available for complete season this year.
Adelaide Strikers resigned Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan will continue to play for Adelaide Strikers as a strike force, This will be Rashid’s fourth year in Big Bash League where he has taken 56 wickets in 40 apperances.
Rashid Khan is one of the world’s top sought cricketers in T20 franchise leagues around the globe and has taken 327 T20 wickets in 257 appearances. He is also the youngest player to pick 300 T20 wickets at just age of 22.
Rashid’s current form will help Adelaide Strikers as he has recently played in IPL 2020 and was the 6th highest wicket taker with 20 wickets in 16 games with an average of 17 and economy rate of under 6 runs per over.
Rashid is also currently #1 in ICC ranking for bowlers in T20 Internationals.
