Marvan Attapatu of Srilanka has the worst ever start to his test career.
He made his test debut in 1990 against India and bagged pair of ducks (0,0), he got another chance in 1992 against Australia but he again scored just 0 & 1 (many thinks it was a leg bye). In 1994 in his third attempt in test cricket he bagged another pair (0,0) against India in 1994.
Later onĀ in 2007 he ended his career as one of the best Srilankan batsman with six double centuries to his credit and captained Srilanka too. In all in his 17 year international career he represented Srilanka in 360 international matches and have scored more than 14000 runs in international cricket for his team.
