Three Pakistani Players in Big Bash League 2020-21 will represent 2 BBL teams in 10th edition of Australian domestic franchise T20 tournament.

Haris Rauf to play for Melbourne Stars

Pakistani paceman Haris Rauf will make an unexpected return to Melbourne Stars to represent them in Big Bash League 2020. Intillay it is expected that Haris will not be able to make it to Big Bash League this season due to international commitments but now he will be available and will join Melbourne Stars in January.

Big Bash played an important role in Haris Rauf career as he was picked in Big Bash League 2019 season as a rookie but his performance not just help his team but also put him in Pakistan’s selectors radar.


Haris Rauf played 10 BBL matches last season and picked up 20 wickets which include hat trick against Sydney Thunders and a 5 wicket haul against Hobart Hurricanes. Harris was also the 4th highest wicket taker in BBL 2019.

Dilbar Hussain returns to play for Melbourne Stars

Another Pakistani fast bowler Dilbar Hussain has been resigned by Melbourne Stars for BBL 10. Dilbar Hussain joined Melbourne Stars last season as a replacement for countrymen Haris Rauf and made his T20 debut. He went for 56 runs in his 4 overs before claiming AB Devilllers as his first T20 wicket.

Since then Dilbar Hussain has represented Lahore Qalandars in PSL 5 and impressed all with his 140 KPH pace and variations of different slower balls which yield him 20 T20 wickets in 16 games so far.

Imad Wasim signed with Melbourne Renegades

Imad Wasim to play for Melbourne Renegades in BBL 10

Pakistani all rounder Imad Wasim signed by Melbourne Renegades for second half of Big bash League 2020.

With his slow left arm spin and aggressive lower order batting abilities Imad is integral part of Pakistan limited over set up and also led his franchise Karachi Kings to win PSL 5 season.

With his ability to bowl inside the power plays Imad is go to man for many captains around the globe as he has played t20 franchise cricket in many countries.

He is currently at 8th place in ICC T20 bowling rankings. His presence will definitely help Melbourne Renegades in BBL 10 season.
