Pakistan speed star Mohammad Abbas who rose to fame with his exceptional bowling skills few years ago. Mohammad Abbas made his presence felt after stellar performances in domestic circuit with spanned over various domestic seasons. Abbas got a national call up for Pakistan at rather ripe age of 27 after playing 8 years in first class cricket for Pakistan.



Mohammad Abbas immediately made his mark at international level by bowling with complete control over the line and length. Despite not having express speed he used seam and swing with immaculate line and length to achieve greater heights and rose to # 3 in ICC best Test bowlers rankings after just 1 year of his admission in test cricket. Mohammad Abbas also secured a place in ICC test team of the Year in 2018.


In his first 10 matches for Pakistan Mohammad Abbas creates an impact where he took 59 wickets at an average of 15 runs per wickets and also secure Specsaver county contract for Leicestershire for 2018 and also shone there as his bowling more suited to English wickets. He grabs 50 scalps for his county in just 10 matches with average of just 17 runs per wicket.

Why Mohammad Abbas can be a key for success in England?

But since that first phase have passed we have seen a decline in Mohammad Abbas bowling form and despite bowling in good bowling pitches in South Africa which provide help to fast bowlers Abbas failed to creates an impression. Abbas picked just 7 wickets in 4 games in this phase and same trend he is currently showing in Specsaver County Season 2019 where he is not able to create same impression which rings alarm bells fro batsman last year. And he is been treated as an easy proposition. He only managed to pick 29 wickets in 9 matches so far this season for his county.
