Another culprit from spot fixing scandal of Pakistan Super League 2017 have taste the dust. This time it was turn of out of favor Nasir Jamshed who was banned for 1 year. Interestingly the player who was initially portrayed as the master mind behind this PSL spot fixing saga have been sentencened the most tamed punishment amongst the all player who have their names involved in this scandal.
A free flowing left handed batsman who rose to fame when he scored three international hundreds against arch rival India in as many matches and was greatly hailed by cricketing experts all around the world; but his cricketing future almost ended with this spot fixing scandal where he is been charged as the main character behind all this as he was marked as the one who urged players to get involved in crime of fixing. He was labeled as the main facilitator and communicator but somehow gets out of it and only charged with the lesser offence of not co-operating with PCB during the investigation in all this process.
May be loss of Nasir Jamshed was not so big for Pakistan because he went out of favor as soon as his form fell away but the damage he did Pakistan by urging other talents like Sharjeel Khan & Khalid Latif had hurt many a cricket fans.
